2024 A Night in the Vineyard

The Monique Burr Foundation for Children’s (MBF) annual signature fundraising event, A Night in the Vineyard, presented by MasterCraft Builder Group at SoNapa Grille, raised $175,000 for the Foundation. All proceeds from A Night in the Vineyard support MBF Prevention Education Programs – personal safety curricula that educate and empower youth, and the adults in their lives, with strategies to recognize, prevent, and respond to all forms of child abuse, bullying, exploitation, trafficking, and other types of child victimization.

“We appreciate everyone who attended and supported the 3rd annual A Night in the Vineyard fundraising event. The support enables MBF to provide programs that safeguard the promise of childhood and forge a world where every child thrives free of abuse and trauma,” said Tanya Ramos-Puig, MBF Chief Executive Officer. “Prevention is not merely an act but a journey of relentless advocacy, education, and support. We are thankful to the many sponsors, donors and guests who joined us to support MBF’s mission to keep youth and our communities safe. Together, we can turn the tide against child abuse and work towards the hope of a better future that has inspired MBF for almost three decades.”

“It is an honor for SoNapa Grille to partner with the Monique Burr Foundation to host A Night in the Vineyard. This collaborative event helps the Foundation raise money in support of their mission to protect our children against the dangers of bullying through prevention-based education programs,” said Adam Barringer, SoNapa Grille Founder.

MBF Programs are making a difference in the lives of youth, protecting them from bullying, digital dangers, various forms of abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking through prevention education. Over the last year, MBF has increased its efforts to ensure cost is not an obstacle or barrier to accessing MBF Prevention Education Programs and partnering with schools across the nation to create a culture of safety in their communities.

A Night in the Vineyard guests enjoyed wine tastings, gourmet food by SoNapa Grille, conversations with winemakers and wine aficionados, access to live and silent auctions, live musical entertainment by the Band Be Easy, Bold City Classics and Nashville recording artist Colleen Orender, and great company, all in support of MBF’s mission to keep youth safe.

What They're Saying...

The MBF Teen Safety Matters curriculum hosts an in-depth approach to important social and safety concerns relevant to youth. The program content is age-appropriate with engaging activities, jargon, and realistic situations to positively promote a relatable and impacting learning experience…Teen Safety Matters is an educational benefit to all parties involved – students, parents, facilitators, and schools.

The MBF Child Safety Matters program is impressive. This important information is well formulated and well presented, developmentally appropriate, and based on good understanding of literature.

I heard about the program through my son. He came home…and showed me the safety rules. I cannot thank the Foundation enough; to have other people who are also concerned about my child’s safety and the safety of other kids is wonderful. I especially like the program’s focus on the prevention side.
