Josh is the Marketing Data Manager for the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. He is responsible for managing their Salesforce.com and providing technical solutions to improve processes and efficiency. Josh has over 8 years of experience in multiple areas of Information Technology. He is very passionate about keeping children safe and finds his work with the Foundation to be very fulfilling.

Josh was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management from Florida State College of Jacksonville. He enjoys traveling, spending quality time with his family, and attending concerts and live sporting events. He has a 10 year old daughter named Stella.

Inyam Griggs oversees the finances and general operations at the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. Inyam manages the in-house accounting and financial reporting for the Foundation. She also provides support for all of the Monique Burr Foundation programs. “I believe that all children deserve to be loved, nourished and protected. Our mission is to protect all children. I am so proud to be part of a team that is serving children in such a phenomenal way.”
Inyam is a graduate of the University of North Florida and holds a degree in Finance. She also has a Masters in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University. Inyam resides in Saint Johns FL with her husband and four girls.

Lynn carries out the Foundation’s mission to provide the best prevention education programs to schools and other organizations to prevent bullying, child abuse, and all types of victimization. She oversees the expansion of the Foundation, develops the Foundation’s board, secures volunteers and executes fundraising events. “I do not believe that we will ever rid ourselves of child abuse or bullying. But I come to work each day knowing that the work we do, the partnerships we form and the money we raise truly makes a difference in the lives of children. I am blessed with the opportunity to see some of the fruits of our labor.

Lynn was born in Valdosta, GA, and has lived in Jacksonville for 29 years. Lynn is a graduate of Valdosta State College and holds a degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. She is an alumni member of the Kappa Delta sorority, Gamma Mu chapter. She supports Young Life – North St. John’s County. Lynn is married to Glenn Layton and together they have two children, Clark Fouraker and Mallory Layton.

Tammy Long is the Events Manager for Monique Burr Foundation for Children, where she plans and implements events, meetings and stewardship activities that enhance development efforts. Her background in development and special events includes work in higher education, public school districts, media, and other non-profits. Tammy enjoys building a vibrant and engaged donor base built on awareness and trust, allowing her to connect donors’ passion with community need.

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Tammy moved to Florida in 2009 with her family. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and traveling. She is a past recipient of the National School Public Relations Association’s Golden Achievement Award, which recognizes exemplary work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing and engagement. She earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Shelly Mason is the Program and Development Assistant at the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. Shelly assists the Program and Development team in all day-to-day activities to keep things running smoothly. Since joining the team at MBF, she enjoys the uplifting feeling of knowing that children are being empowered to keep themselves safe with the help of MBF and the proactive adults in our schools and community.

Shelly was born in Joplin, Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia with a Bachelor of Educational Studies degree. She relocated from South Florida to the Jacksonville area with her husband and two children in 2011. Her son and daughter both graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Stacy Pendarvis is the Program Director for the Monique Burr Foundation for Children, Inc. A social worker and educator with two Masters degrees from East Carolina University, and twenty years experience in the child welfare and prevention field, Stacy has educated thousands of adults and children on various child protection issues and has managed multiple community and agency projects related to child protection.

As a consultant in North Carolina, Stacy developed curricula and resources for Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina and helped organizations and communities develop prevention initiatives utilizing programs such as Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect, Internet Safety, and Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children. She has also held Social Work and Psychology adjunct faculty positions at several Universities in North Carolina and Florida.

Stacy’s role at the Monique Burr Foundation for Children is to oversee all program related activities and initiatives and all prevention related activities. Her work includes topic research and resource development, curriculum design and updates, and community and professional development trainings. She lives in Ponte Vedra Beach with two of her daughters and enjoys frequent visits from her oldest daughter who is attending the University of Florida.

Shana Wilson is the Financial Accountant for the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. Shana joined the foundation in 2016. She is responsible for the accounting activities and support to the Finance & Operations Director.

Shana brought 17+ years of accounting experience, where she has worked in various capacities as an accountant and analyst. She holds a BS BA in Accounting, Marketing, and Management from Indiana State University and MBA from Louisiana State University.

Shana enjoys reading, shopping, and traveling to new places. Professionally, she enjoys taking on new challenges and personally, she takes tremendous pride in working for a foundation that empowers and protects children.

Paul Woods has been in the nonprofit world for over 20 years as an educator, minister, and leader of families here in Jacksonville. As the Development Director, Paul’s contribution to the Monique Burr Foundation Team is to help raise the financial support needed to accomplish our mission. Married for 22 years, Paul has four wonderful children and enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys cycling and being in the great outdoors!

Nan Worsowicz is the Florida Outreach Manager at the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. She spent 36 years working in the public school system, teaching students with disabilities in both elementary and middle school, and working as a school counselor at middle and high school. She recently retired as the Supervisor of School Counseling for Duval County Public Schools where she was responsible for supporting school counselors at all levels to develop comprehensive programs to assist students and families. Child abuse prevention and advocacy for children and families are topics near and dear to her heart.

Nan received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her Master’s from the University of North Florida. She has been married to her husband Tim for almost 40 years and they have two grown children, Katie and Kevin, and two young grandchildren.
